Casa Staibano Capri Amaro


An amaro made with rocket leaves, which give a unique piquancy to its bittersweet flavour.


The creation of Don Vincenzo Stabiano, inspired by his time spent on the island of Capri in the mid 1940s, and based on Rucolino, an amaro from the island of Ischia. Casa Stabiano Capri Amaro's recipe includes Amalfi lemons, other citrus fruits, and a mixture of spices, herbs and roots. Its particular special ingredient however is rocket leaves, with add a subtle piquant flavour to its delicate bittersweet profile.

Serving suggestions include adding the amaro to an espresso, using it in a negroni, or serving it over ice with an orange peel and tonic water.
