An annual limited edition blend of three straight rye whiskies including Whistlepig's own 2 year old rye made using grain, water and wood from their farm in Vermont.
Made with 32% 2-year aged Whistlepig rye from Vermont, 45% 6-year aged rye from MPGI in Indiana and 23% 10-year aged rye from Alberta Distillers in Canada.
Whistlepig's tasting notes...
Nose: Orange zest, white chocolate, vanilla bean and fresh pear combine with a gentle Rye spice.
Palate: Delicate fruitiness gives way to a full-bodied burst of spice, rounded by notes of allspice and cinnamon and balanced with a pleasant dryness.
Finish: White pepper and oak spice leave a light and surprisingly lengthy finish.
