

A cask strength 10 year old peated blended malt curated by Billy Walker and featuring some aged GlenAllachie stock.
Produced under the auspices of Master Blender Billy Walker, Lum Reek is a Blended Malt Scotch Whisky made up of Speyside and Islay single malts blended with aged GlenAllachie single malt to give a balance of peat and rich, fruity character. It is aged in Spanish sherry casks, wine barriques and virgin oak casks.
This is batch two of the cask strength 10 year old expression, bottled at 55.8% abv.
Producer's tasting notes...
Colour: Rich mahogany
Nose: Waves of grilled honeycomb, ginger and vanilla, with cinnamon, campfire smoke and treacle.
Taste: Bursting with dark chocolate, burnt orange peel and honeycomb, followed by smoked spices, butterscotch and roasted coffee beans, with notes of ginger on the finish.
Natural colour. Non chill filtered. Cask strength.
