A honeyed and sherry influenced primarily lowland blended malt from independent bottlers A.D. Rattray.


Glenburn was originally developed by independent bottlers A.D. Rattray's founder Andrew Dewar Rattray. Here its revival is continued as a blended malt vatted from predominantly lowland single malt.

From their Cask Collection series, this single cask 7 year old blended malt was matured for over 6 years in a bourbon hogshead (cask #8), and then finished in an oloroso sherry hogshead for 12 months.

Distilled on 04.02.2016, bottled on 19.06.2023. A release of 267 bottles at a cask strength of 57.9%.

Colour: Ripe apricot.
Nose: Crumbly biscotti, sweet basil and charred oak.
Palate: Orange blossom honey, roast almond and lychee.
Finish: Sweet, malty and evocative of traditional Scottish ale.

Natural colour. Non chill filtered. Cask strength.
