Islay Mist was originally created on Islay in the 1920s for the 21st birthday celebrations of the son and heir of the then lord Margadale, using whisky from the Laphroaig distillery.
This current incarnation stays true to the original blending recipe, with balanced smoky and peaty tones between layers of sweet, mellow oaky maltiness and a touch of coastal Islay sea breeze character.
