Leclerc Briant Brut Reserve NV *Biodynamic*
A dry, complex wine from the pioneers of biodynamic viticulture in Champagne.
Leclerc Briant began the shift towards organic, and then biodynamic, agriculture in the 1970s, long before any other producer in Champagne. Under the guidance of Hervé Jestin they are now pioneering low- and zero-sulphur champagne.
Our tasting note:on the nose the wine is ripe and complex, with notes of lemon, honey, yellow flowers and some spiciness. The palate is light, dry, and chalky, with lemon sherbet and some more honey. The mousse is very fine indeed.
