A champagne house using champagne grapes to make a sparkling wine in the champagne style. Why not just call it champagne? Well, the grapes are grown in Chablis.
For all those reasons this is a superb value bottle of fizz. Sharp, clean acidity with a steely minerality against a fruit profile of granny smiths and zingy citrus fruit. Bready notes from the secondary fermentation give a rich complexity that rounds off this fantastic wine.
