Part of independent bottlers North Star's Cask Series 021, this 16 year old Blair Athol was distilled in 2006, matured in a refill hogshead and then finished in an oloroso hogshead, and bottled in November 2022. A release of 287 bottles at 49.5% abv.
Natural colour. Non chill filtered.

Nose: Blanched almonds on biscotti with marzipan jam.
Palate: A cloak of warm dark chocolate & hazelnuts.
Finish: Turkish black coffee with cardamon.
