J.J. Corry 'The Gael' Irish Whiskey
From County Clare on the west coast of Ireland, J.J. Corry's The Gael is a blend of selected Irish single malts (including some 26 year old) and grain whiskey.
Batch No. 1 of The Gael is a blend of 26 year old single malt (5%), 15 year old single malt (27.5%), 11 year old single malt (27.5%) and 7 year old grain (40%).
A limited edition of 7000 bottles at 46% abv.
J.J. Corry's tasting notes... "a classic Irish whiskey full of white stone fruit & lime notes with hints of minerality and pink peppercorns".
J.J. Corry was a renowned 19th century whiskey bonder on the west coast of Ireland. The Gael is named for a bicycle that he invented in the 1890s.
