Loch Gorm 2022 Edition was matured exclusively in oloroso sherry butts from Bodega Jose y Miguel Martin for a minimum of eight years. The 22 casks selected by Kilchoman's founder Anthony Wills were a combination of 20 fresh and 2 refill casks.
Kilchoman's tasting notes...
Nose: Fresh maritime smoke, dried raisins, toasted orange peel and cloves.
Palate: Rich dark chocolate, mixed spices and dried fruits accompanied by subtle warming peat smoke, sweet tobacco, roasted walnuts and hints of caramel.
Finish: Long and evolving with cinnamon spice, fresh fruits and integrated peat smoke.
Non chill filtered and natural colour.
