Kaiyo is aged at sea where several months of journeying cause a particularly rapid development of the whisky's flavours.

Mizanara oak has a particularly delicate wood grain and it can take centuries for trees to grow to a suitable size for cask making, but it is considered perhaps the finest oak for whisky maturation, giving a unique and complex sweet and spicy character.

Delicate floral nose, with ripe dried fruit, hints of vanilla and spice. A silky smooth body with a long, lingering honey finish.
