Mezcal Derrumbes Zacatecas
A traditionally produced Mezcal made with blue weber agave (as used for Tequila) in Hacienda de Guadalupe in Zacatecas in central Mexico.
This Mezcal uses the same blue agave which is used to produce Tequila in Jalisco (and other regulated municipalities), but hails from the central Mexican state of Zacatecas. It is produced using traditional methods including underground cooking of the agave, grinding by tahona stone and natural fermentating with wild yeasts before a copper pot still distillation.
Produced in limited, individually hand numbered batches.
