A Sake with sweet and tangy Yuzu, a delicious Japanese citrus fruit.
This Yuzu Sake combines classic Sake character with the deliciously sweet and tangy notes of fresh yuzu.
Hailing from Kochi prefecture, which produces about half of all Japan's yuzu, the fruit is harvested in late October and early November at 60-70% ripeness and is pressed straightaway to preserve its freshness and acidity. The Tosa area is especially well known for its yuzu production because of its cool climate and water quality.
This style of Sake is fruity and delicately sweet and sour. It is best served chilled at 5-7 degrees C and matches well with lobster, white fish carpaccio, fish & chips, cheesecake and sorbet - which sounds like an awesome feast to us!
