Old Particular Mannochmore 2007 12 Year Old
A 12 year old single cask Mannochmore (not a distillery we see very often) from Douglas Laing's Old Particular range. It's a sweet, spicy, fruity dram with a touch of wood char about it.
Distilled in July 2007 at the Mannochmore distillery, matured for 12 years and bottled from a single refill hogshead (DL13780) in December 2019. A release of 347 bottles at a strength of 48.4% with no colouring and no chill filtration.
Douglas Laing's tasting notes...
Nose: Full, round and sweet, showing later green fruit and cereal.
Palate: Engages with dulcet spices, barley, sugar and vanilla.
Finish: More barley ahead of the same spices, autumnal fruit and grist.
