

Benriach's core ten year old release, matured in a combination of bourbon, sherry and virgin oak casks.
Under the guidance of Master Blender Rachel Barrie, Benriach The Original Ten Year Old is made up of spirit matured for at least ten years in three different types of cask - bourbon barrels, sherry casks and virgin oak casks - to create a smooth, layered, balanced dram.
Benriach's tasting notes:
"A signature smooth malt, layered with orchard fruit, honey sweetness and toasted oak, with a finishing note of almond and spiced vanilla, all in perfect balance."
Colour: Summer gold.
Nose: Rich orchard fruits, honey and toasted oak.
Palate: Ripe pear, nectarine and malt sweetness, with a finishing note of almond and spiced vanilla.
