Time and Place Carron 2008 Speyside

Finished in an ex-Olorosso cask..

One of our (many) favourite Glaswegian gin producers, Illicit Spirits, has bottled this Single Cask of 250 bottles under the label Time & Place. The time was 2008. The place was "near" the Speyside village of Carron, known as the site of the Imperial ditillery (mothballed 1998) and the new Dalmunach distillery (built 2014).

Tasting notes on the bottle:

"Cola bottles on the nose, with rich dark espresso on the palate and a hint of white grape. Warming cinnamon lingers on the finish."
