Cask #417 was distilled in December 2011 and bottled in October 2022 in an outturn of 318.
Matured first in a hogshead and then reracked into a fresh recharred cask.
Balmenach is lesser seen distillery which uses long fermentation and quick distillation to create a heavier spirit.
Our tasting note: lipsmacking, savoury, more-ish. If savoury barley sugar were a thing, it would taste like this.
