Woodrow's of Edinburgh began as whisky cask traders, before also starting to release their own independent bottlings.
This 13 year old Glen Spey was distilled on 28/11/2008, matured in a refill hogshead (cask no. 806892) and bottled at cask strength on 24/04/2022 in an outturn of 236 bottles.
Woodrow's tasting notes...
Nose: Heather honey, Scottish tablet, fresh hay, linseed oil and ripe pair.
Palate: More honey, apple, orange & lemon peel, brown sugar and oat cakes.
Finish: Oily coating with white fruit, pepper and cloves.
Natural colour. Non chill filtered. Cask strength.
