

A small batch botanical spirit made with sherry, wine and port poached pears, distilled with vanilla, orange and cassia bark.
A botanical spirit from Whitewood Distilling Co. in Leeds. For this particular small batch release ripe, juicy pears were sliced and slow cooked in a bath of Pedro Ximénez sherry, red wine and port. Fresh organic vanilla pods, dried orange and winter spices were added and after 8 hours of slow cooking the pear slices were removed. The distilled spirit was blended with a reduction made from the poaching liquids.
Whitewood's botanical spirits are made to be enjoyed like gin or vodka - serve them over ice, mix with soda or tonic, or use in cocktails.
