On the nose, it’s a complex wine, we find fruits such a pear, apple, white currant and white flowers but also dried fruits and spice. On the palate you get all that and a little salinity and an elegant acidity which provide freshness.
Something of a historical oddity, this white Rioja is made with the Viura grape, which is then blended with a small quantity of Manzanilla sherry and aged in barrel for several months.
