Sweetdram Wild Absinthe 2022 35cl
Scottish absinthe made with the producer's home grown botannicals.
Dsitilled once a year in Edinburgh when the Sweetdram garden yields the right botannicals: sea wormwood, wild fennel, bay, santolina, horseradish leaf, marigold, eucalyptus, lemon verbena, purple sage, anise hyssop, and sweet cicely (as per their website). The recipe was devised when they were based in London and foraging wild on the Hackney Marshes.
Producer's tasting note:
"Nose: Raw fennel, lavender.
Palate: Black liquorice, sea salt, pine oil.
Finish: Mint, camphor."
