As well as our regular public tasting events, which you can find listed on our website, we also run private tastings. They’re relaxed but informative events, and are great for company nights out or team building, stag or hen dos, birthdays, or any other occasion.

What’s Involved
A tasting typically last about two hours and we always select a range of samples so as to cover the representative styles for the category. One of our expert staff will lead you through the tasting with information about the category in general and more detailed information on the producers and bottles featured in the tasting.
The number of samples depends on the category. For spirits and champagne, we’ll feature six samples, for wine, it’s eight, and for beer or cider it’s ten samples. Our cocktail events include three cocktails and four samples of the components of the drinks we make.
We can tailor a tasting to suit you and your guests; you don’t need to stick to just one category. For example, you might have a mixed group who like both gin and whisky – we could run a tasting with three gins followed by three whiskies.
Our custom built tasting room at 23 Bath Street, Glasgow, can accommodate up to thirty guests, but we can also come to you. In the past we have appeared at Dynamic Earth in Edinburgh and at the Science Centre, the Lighthouse, and Merchant Square in Glasgow, and we have also poured for up to 1000 at conference venues.
Pricing
Here are our prices for tasting events for up to 30 guests. If you are planning a larger event, please get in touch and we’ll be happy to give you a quote (and please also note that the per-person price goes down the more guests you have!)

Our tasting room can accommodate up to thirty guests.

The Small Print
• The minimum charge for a Deluxe Whisky Tasting is £1800 (ie 24 people)
• For any other event which is charged per person, it's £300, regardless of the number of guests.
• The prices given above do not include travel costs for events outside central Glasgow.
• We’ll need a 25% deposit to secure your booking, with the balance payable 48 hours before the event, at which point we will also finalise the number of guests attending.
• Cancellations & refunds: if you cancel an event more than one month in advance, your deposit is refundable. Once we have confirmed the final number of guests and taken full payment, no refund will be given in respect of guests not attending.
• These prices are valid until the end of June 2024.
