Lady of the Glen Port Dundas 2004 17 Year Old 58.7%


A 17 year old single cask sherry finished Port Dundas single grain from independent bottlers Lady of the Glen.


A single cask release of 17 year old Single Grain Scotch Whisky from the now closed and demolished Port Dundas distillery, released by independent bottlers Lady of the Glen.

Distilled on 2nd June 2004 and initially matured in a refill butt, then finished for 12 months in an Oloroso sherry butt, before being bottled on 3rd June 2021. Cask No. #73895. A release of 603 individually hand numbered bottles at a strength of 58.1% with no colouring and non-chill filtered.

The Port Dundas distillery was built in 1811 at the highest point in Glasgow on the Forth & Clyde Canal. It was closed in 2010 and demolished just a year later. Its single grain is a light sweet distillate, given an extra layer of fruit, herbs and spice here by the sherry finish.
