Kilchoman Cognac Cask Matured 2023 Release

This 2023 edition is Kilchoman's first official Cognac Cask Matured limited edition release. It was distilled in 2016 and matured in 31 barriques that were previously used to mature Cognac.

Kilchoman's tasting notes: "Maturation in ex-Cognac casks has added notes of pear, apricot and hints of mixed spices which pair beautifully with Kilchoman's natural citrus sweetness and maritime peat smoke."

Nose: Herbaceous fresh fruit, subtle sweetness and peat smoke.
Palate: Toasted oak, sweet fresh fruits, cinnamon and nutmeg.
Finish: Crystallised ginger and citrus oil with lingering light smoke.

Natural colour. Non chill filtered.
