Surely the world's most famous example of triple sec, this orange liqueur is called for in many legendary cocktails.
Interestingly, the Global Brand Ambassador for Cointreau is Alfred Cointreau, a 6th Generation descendent of the original family.
There are many, many drinks in which this liqueur shines, but a few of the more notable recipes are the Sidecar, Margarita, Cosmopolitan and one of our all-time favourites, the White Lady.
Our recipe for the White Lady, as created by Harry McElhone of the New York Bar in Paris around 1929, calls for Gin, Cointreau, Lemon Juice, Sugar Syrup and Egg White. Truly delicious!
