A single cask bottling from Glasgow Distillery released to celebrate the centenary (1923-2023) of the Scottish Fire And Rescue Service Family Support Trust. Available exclusively from ourselves at The Good Spirits Co., with all profits going to SFRS Family Support Trust.
It is an unpeated single malt from Glasgow Distillery, distilled on 7th March 2016, matured for over 7 years in an ex bourbon cask (cask no. 16-51), and bottled on 15th August 2023.
A release of 223 individually hand numbered bottles.
Glasgow Distillery's tasting notes...
Nose: Marizpan, toasted almonds, unripe peaches, white pepper, poached pear.
Palate: Vanilla nougat, buttered popcorn, tarte tatin, bitter orange peel, toasted oak.
Finish: Caramelised pecans, beurre noisette, candied orange.
Natural colour. Non chill filtered. Cask strength.
