A wheat-based vodka from Dunnet Bay Distillery in Caithness, which contains local botanicals including Holy Grass (better known as Bison Grass in Eastern Europe) and Highland Apples. A juicy, bright vodka which is particularly versatile but retains more character from the initial ingredients than many other vodkas on the market.
Dunnet Bay Distillery is based at the very North of mainland Scotland and also produces Rock Rose Gin.
The famous botanist Robert Dick is credited with discovering Holy Grass on the banks of the Thurso River whilst living there in the 1800s, providing a nice touch of local provenance to the recipe.
