This page lists the details of the bottled cocktails that we make and are sold in our shops, along with suggested ways to serve them. Drinks are listed with the most recent at the top.

We would advise you to keep the cocktails in a cool, dark place and to drink them fresh to enjoy them at their best. Please also remember that these drinks have not been diluted, so they will require some form of dilution before drinking.

We have previously collaborated with the wonderful folk from Highland Liquor Co. on a number of bottled cocktails and when they suggested joining forces again we jumped at the chance. These will also be available from their shops, which we are very excited about!

We use the classic, juniper forward Seven Crofts Gin, alongside another favourite, Cocchi Vermouth Di Torino Extra Dry. L’Aperitivo Nonino from North East Italy, some cinnamon syrup and lemon bitters are added and this creates a slightly sweet, wintery Martini style drink.

Mind Thae Conkers

Not just a great name, but a great drink. One Roddy came up with a couple of years back, and we recently adapted slightly to use at Cocktail Club and allow us to bottle it. Taking a Remember The Maine as a template, with Bourbon as the main spirit, we swapped Cherry Heering for Creme de Chataigne, a chestnut liqueur, and upped the quantity slightly, then added a tiny dash of Absinthe.

Bourbon / Chestnut Liqueur / Sweet Vermouth / Absinthe

How to Serve

We would suggest pouring 70ml-100ml per drink into an ice filled mixing glass and stirring. Double strain into a chilled cocktail glass and garnish with a maraschino cherry.

Espress Delivery

Some of our favourite things here at The Good Spirits Co. are coffee, rum and cocktails. Here Plantation Dark Rum is joined by Luxardo Espresso Liqueur, Rosso Antico, Cynar, Chocolate Bitters and a touch of Demerara - this is the ideal pick me up.

Rum / Sweet Vermouth / Espresso Liqueur / Cynar / Demerara Syrup / Chocolate Bitters

20cl / 30.4%

How to Serve

One bottle, a couple of options. Easiest one - we suggest pouring 70ml-100ml per drink, over ice, simple. If you want to shake things up, pour 75ml into an ice filled cocktail shaker, with a shot of espresso and shake. Double strain into a chilled cocktail glass and enjoy. We reckon this could work as a flip, or included with your espresso in an afogatto, but we haven’t tested these yet. Let us know if you try them.

Rom-Pa-Pom-Pom

Almost There

Over the last few years, we’ve been "Virtually There", “Virtually There, Again” and “Almost There”, and we like it so much, it had to make a come back again!

Wine Fair 2023

Fairly Fizzy

Fairy Fizzy was created for our sixth annual Wine Fair, an event we love that showcases some of the best grape based products from our Wine & Beer shop on West Nile Street. Starting with a gin base of Eclectic Gin Society Original Blend, we then layered in some wine based products - the peach notes from Rinquinquin combine with honeyed stone fruits from Pineau Des Charente and orange citrus notes from Lillet Blanc. All you need is to top with some fizz!

How to Serve

We would suggest pouring 50ml of your cocktail into your favourite cocktail glass, coupe or flute, then topping with around 125ml of your favourite sparkling wine!

Summer 2023

The Suffragette

We first made this drink at a tasting in 2022, and it became a staff, and customer favourite. Combining classic London Dry Gin, with the bitter notes of Cocchi Rosa and sweetness of Plum Umeshu, this is an elegant, gin forward beauty of a drink.

How to Serve

We would suggest pouring 70ml-100ml per drink, into an ice filled mixing glass and stir. Double strain into a chilled cocktail glass. Enjoy.

The Empress

This drink was created for a Cocktail Club that our Sara hijacked for her birthday celebrations, so of course it was going to be gin based and with a hint of bitterness. Juniper heavy gin, with Bitter Bianco, Cocchi Vermouth di Torino Extra Dry, Aluna Peach & Pomelo Liqueur and some peach bitters, this is treat of a drink that was ideal for some birthday celebrations.

How To Serve

We love a drink that can be served in a variety of different ways. Up, long, over ice, topped with fizz, so many options! To serve up, stir 70-100ml over ice, then strain into your chilled cocktail glass. Alternatively, pour straight over ice and stir to have negroni style. Or for the decadent serve, pour 75ml into a champagne glass, no top with your fizz of choice.

Summer Daze

Channeling that summer time winning combo of strawberries & cream, and reminiscent of those wee pink and white swirly sweets, this is a nod to that fantastic flavour combo.

How To Serve

One bottle, many different options. For a classic Negroni, pour 75ml into an ice filled mixing glass. Stir, strain into an ice filled rocks glass and garnish with a fresh strawberry. If you prefer a long drink, fill a highball glass with ice, pour in 50ml of your cocktail and top with soda water or tonic. Or for an elegant sparkling drink, pour 50ml into a champagne glass and top with around 75ml of sparkling wine, white or even a rosé!

Let's Get Sazical

This tropical twist on a Sazerac was featured on one of our monthly Cocktail Nights. Going for a Brandy and Rum base, we decided one rum wasn’t enough, so we split the rum part into 3, showing off classic Caribbean Rum, Jamaican funk and tropical coconut notes. Passionfruit liqueur and Peychaud’s bitters tie this wonderfully silly drink together.

How To Serve

Simplest way to serve this one, pour 70-100ml into an ice filled mixing glass and stir. Double strain into an ice filled rocks glass. Garnish with half a passion fruit if you feel fancy.

Mates Rates

Another cocktail devised from Cocktail Club, this came about after we discovered Galliano Vannilla smells and tastes like some well known smell chocolate eggs. Add in some rums, chocolate liqueurs and chocolate bitters, and you have a cracking chocolatey old fashioned.

How To Serve

Pour the desired amount of cocktail (we would suggest between 70ml-100ml per drink) over ice and stir to dilute. Either strain into a chilled cocktail glass, or pour over fresh ice in a rocks glass. If you want, garnish with some chocolate.

Ardnamurchan Collaboration

Alongside reappearances of favourites the Piña Colardna and the Ardnamurchan Rob Roy, the release of Ardnamurchan's new blended whisky Maclean's Nose gave us a chance to add a third cocktail, Peach Perfect, to our expanding line-up of collaborations with the west coast distillery. These three cocktails are available to buy from ourselves, or direct from the Ardnamurchan Distillery shop.

Peach Perfect

When Ardnamurchan’s latest release, Maclean’s Nose, hit the shelves, we new it would be ideal for mixing some cocktails and we knew we had to make a summery delight. Taking inspiration from beach trips, barbeques and the summery notes of peaches, we have come up with a mixed drink that can be drunk on its own over ice, or made into a deliciously refreshing highball with lots of ice of soda water. Using Maclean’s Nose as a base, with peach notes from RinQuinQuin à la Pêche, Aperol for a hint of bitterness, Giffard Crème de Pêche, Yellow Chartreuse, Supasawa and The Bitter Truth Peach Bitters, we think this is the ideal summer sipper.

How To Serve

This delightful drink works in two ideal serves. Either pour the desired amount of cocktail (we would suggest between 70ml-100ml per drink) over ice, garnish with a slice of peach and enjoy. Or fill a highball glass with ice, pour in 50ml of cocktail, top with around 75ml soda water, sparkling water or tonic water, garnish with a slice of peach and enjoy on a, hopeful, sunny day.

Piña Colardna

Originally served as a welcome drink for our Ardnamurchan & Adelphi Tasting in April 2022, the Piña Colardna is a riff on the classic Piña Colada, the drink that everybody loves to diss (but, funnily enough, everybody loves to drink). Using Ardnamurchan Single Malt, coconut oil washed Aluna Coconut Rum and pineapple cube (yes, those yellow sweets) infused Cocchi Americano, this tropical delight had to be recreated.

How To Serve

Pour the desired amount of cocktail (we would suggest 70-100ml per drink) over ice and stir to dilute. Either strain into a chilled cocktail glass, or pour over fresh ice in a rocks glass. If you want, garnish with a lime twist.

Rob Roy

Inspired by the classic Rob Roy, a Scotch Whisky take on a Manhattan, for this we have used Ardnamurchan Single Malt, Cocchi Vermouth di Torino sweet vermouth and Regan's Orange Bitters. This Rob Roy is a beautifully elegant cocktail that is dangerously easy to drink.

How To Serve

Pour the desired amount of cocktail (we would suggest 70-100ml per drink) over ice and stir to dilute. Strain into a chilled cocktail glass and garnish with a Maraschino Cherry, or an orange twist if you don't have cherries.

Café De Jerez

Comment T’Apple Tu

Taking inspiration from our favourite negroni, we have used Avallen Calvados as the base. For the bitter element, we have infused Bitter Bianco with cinnamon for a wintery warmth, Blanco vermouth and a final orchard note from Le Verger liqueur.

How To Serve

Simplest way to serve this one, pour 70-100ml into an ice filled mixing glass and stir. Double strain into an ice filled rocks glass and garnish a slice of apple or cinnamon stick. Alternatively, pour 50ml into a champagne glass and top with your favourite sparkling wine. This would also work in a highball with soda or tonic, or even with some warmed apple juice for a real winter warmer.

The Pearfect Tot

With Black Tot Rum and Vecchia Romagna Italian Brandy as the base, this drink is then bolstered with the addition of Dark Chocolate & Pear Xanté liqueur, Ramazotti Amaro and chocolate bitters. It really does taste of a decadent dessert, so would be the pearfect post dinner treat.

How To Serve

We would suggest pouring 70ml-100ml per drink, into an ice filled mixing glass and stir. You can either then serve it up in a chilled cocktail glass, or over ice in a rocks glass. Please make sure you dilute this one though, it really packs a punch at 38.4%.

An Old Fashioned Chocolate Orange

When we asked which of our previous bottled cocktails we should bring back, we were entirely unsurprised that An Old Fashioned Chocolate Orange won. Inspired by everyone’s favourite Christmas chocolate, this Rum Old Fashioned really does taste like a little segment of joy.

How To Serve

We would suggest pouring 70ml-100ml per drink, into an ice filled mixing glass and stir. Double strain into an ice filled rocks glass and garnish with a segment from your favourite orange flavoured chocolate treat. Or an orange twist.

The Elegant Epicurean

Once again, we have collaborated with The Highland Liquor Co to create another couple of cocktails. Here, using the standard Seven Crofts Gin, we have combined this with the orange notes of Pierre Ferrand Dry Curaçao, Lillet Blanc, Amaro Nonino and Regans’ Orange Bitters. The elegant, and slightly bitter drink showcases the juniper forward Seven Crofts beautifully.

How To Serve

We would suggest pouring 70ml-100ml per drink, into an ice filled mixing glass and stir. Double strain into a chilled cocktail glass and garnish with an orange twist. Alternatively, this works a treat topped with your favourite sparkling wine.

Red Sky At Night

Our second collaboration with The Highland Liquor Co uses the higher strength Fisherman’s Strength version of their gin. Combining this with El Bandarra Sweet Vermouth, Kakuzo, a cherry flavoured bitter drink, we have emphasised the cherry notes with Giffard Cherry Brandy. Hibiscus Syrup and Creole bitters complete the line up.

How To Serve

We would suggest pouring 70ml-100ml per drink, into an ice filled mixing glass and stir. Double strain into an ice filled rocks glass and garnish with a maraschino cherry. Alternatively, this could be diluted then served up in a cocktail glass. Or pour 50ml into a champagne glass and top with your favourite sparkling wine for a Sbagliato style drink.

Edinburgh Gin - Filled With Wonder

Our collaboration with Edinburgh Gin started with a virtual tasting of their four dry gins from the ‘Filled With Wonder’ campaign in early September 2022, each paired with a tailor-made cocktail inspired by the gin. We loved them so much we decided to recreate the cocktails and bottle them for you to enjoy at home.

A Stone's Throw

Showcasing Edinburgh Seaside Gin, which takes inspiration from days at the beach and sunshine memories, this cocktail also features the aromatics of Belsazar Riesling Vermouth, the sweet fruitiness of Fair Passion Fruit Liqueur and a touch of bitterness with Luxardo Bitter Bianco. Fresh and breezy.

How To Serve

We suggest stirring 70ml-100ml per drink of this over ice to dilute, and then straining it into a chilled cocktail glass. Garnish with a lime twist. Alternatively, you could pour it over ice in a rocks glass, or pour over ice and top with soda or your favourite sparkling wine.

Life's A Peach

The Bellevue

The complex Edinburgh Royal Botanic Gardens 1670 Gin shines when paired with Highland Boundary Birch & Elderflower Liqueur, El Bandarra Blanco Vermouth and a touch of Green Chartreuse. For balance we added a tiny bit of Supasawa gives a little acidity, The Bitter Truth Lemon Bitters and a dash of Chartreuse Elixir Vegetal. This cocktail will appeal to lovers of slightly more herbal drinks.

How To Serve

Stir 70ml-100ml per drink vigorously with ice in a mixing glass to dilute. Then strain into a chilled cocktail glass and garnish with a lemon twist.  For a longer drink, fill a highball glass with ice, pour some cocktail in and top with tonic or soda.

It's 1pm Somewhere
