Kingsbarns' flagship light, sweet, fruity and floral single malt.
First released in March 2023, Doocot is the signature single malt from Kingsbarns distillery close to St Andrews in Fife. Aged in ex-bourbon barrels and STR barriques, it is a softly sweet, fruity and floral whisky.
It is a blend of 90% ex-bourbon barrel matured spirit and 10% spirit aged in shaved, toasted and re-charred ex-red wine barriques.
Kingsbarns' tasting notes:
Nose: Sweet and floral, soft brown sugar with banana cake batter and tropical notes.
Palate: Pineapple syrup, summer berries and a hint of rhubarb.
Finish: Kiwi fruit and citrus zest.
Natural colour. Non chill filtered.
